How to make a unique and delicious collagen-coated baked egg dish.

Ingredients : 8 chicken eggs, collagen wrappers, tapioca starch, 3 kumquats, fish sauce, honey, seasoning powder, MSG, ground pepper.

Instructions:

  • Preparing the eggs: Crack  8 chicken eggs into a bowl, add 1/2 teaspoon of seasoning powder, 2 teaspoons of cornstarch, 1 teaspoon of MSG, 1 teaspoon of pepper, 1/2 teaspoon of honey, and 2 teaspoons of fish sauce . Use chopsticks or a whisk to stir well until the eggs and seasonings are completely dissolved. Strain the egg mixture through a sieve to prevent lumps.
  • To make egg custards: Cut the collagen shells into appropriately sized pieces, tie one end, pour the egg into the shell, and tie the other end . Leave some space;  don’t fill the shells too full  so the egg will expand during steaming and won’t explode.
  • Steaming the eggs: Steam the egg skewers  for about 45 minutes  until the eggs are cooked.
  • Baking eggs: Bake the eggs in an air fryer at  120 degrees for 15 minutes.
  • Prepare the dipping sauce: Mix the following ingredients:  1 teaspoon salt, 1/2 teaspoon pepper, 2 kumquats, 1-2 chilies, and 1/2 teaspoon MSG . Stir well until all the spices are dissolved.

 The eggs are a beautiful golden color ,  fragrant , and look like sausages.
